These dark and corrupted lands once belonged to the humans before the Scourge came and claimed it as their own. Tirisfal Glades is a forest with many different evil powers, many of them which belong to the Forsaken. However, leader of the Scourge, Prince Arthas, abandoned Tirisfal when he left to aid the Lich King in Northrend.

In Arthas’ absence, the Dark Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, the Forsaken’s leader assaulted the Tirisfal Glades and also claimed the Undercity which was intended for Arthas. The Undercity lies beneath the ruins of the capital of Lordaeron and is now the home of the Forsaken.

As you might’ve guessed this is the starting location for the Undead. Brill is a town that has many quests so it’s a good place to travel to once you’ve finished the once in your own race’s starting zone.
